Accreditation and standards

HWP delivers structured CPD aligned with recognised professional standards for psychotherapists working towards accreditation.

Programmes are designed to support ongoing professional development within integrative training routes and independent clinical practice.

CPD Hours

Each programme clearly states the number of CPD hours provided.

Certificates of attendance are issued following completion of the intensive and follow-up labs.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that CPD aligns with the requirements of their professional body.

Professional alignment

HWP programmes are designed with awareness of the expectations of UK professional organisations, including:

  • UK Council for Psychotherapy

  • British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy

The focus remains on strengthening clinical judgement, ethical awareness and applied integration within professional frameworks.

Ethical Framework

HWP programmes are delivered in accordance with the Code of Ethics and Professional Practice of the UK Council for Psychotherapy, aligned with the standards of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.

All cohort learning is conducted within clear professional boundaries, with respect for confidentiality, safeguarding and clinical responsibility.

Programmes do not replace supervision. Participants are expected to maintain appropriate supervisory arrangements in line with their professional body’s requirements.

Governance

HWP operates with a commitment to professional integrity, transparent communication and contained cohort learning environments.

Further details regarding governance structure will be provided on request.
